The Ehattesaht First Nations Administration Department is responsible for, implementing and overseeing all aspects of the band entities, which includes the development and enforcement of policies, ensuring the efficient and effective operations of the band, working with the accounting department on fiscal and operational accountability, and providing assistance to the hereditary chiefs, as well as to the currently elected band council.
Ehattesaht First Nation oversees and manages its own financial affairs by preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, annual and reports to all service providers, as well as the submission of professional audits to Indigenous Services Canada (ISC), and to any external entities that rely, or request copies of these statements.
To assist with the provisions and support to the community, the Chief and Council, and to the band membership, the following services are overseen and provided by the Ehattesaht Band Administration Office:
